Sinnissippi Tuath Grove

Community Spring Equinox Celebration 2017

Spring-Equinox-celebration-rockford-il

The Sinnissippi Tuath Grove, ADF, invites one and all to a celebration of the Spring Equinox, the Coming of Aonghus and Bride! Children are encouraged for this celebration – Parents please be responsible.

The rite will be an ADF-style Druidic high day, based on a Scottish myth, invoking Bride as the Spring Maiden, and Aonghus as the Lord of the Green.

During the Praise Offerings section, there will be a Children’s Story telling the myth of Aonghus and Bride. This will take up about half of the time for praise offerings, so if you wish to make a praise offering, we ask that it be fairly short. If you think you would like to do a praise offering, I would strongly encourage you to come to one of our rehearsals, so we can see what we have and fit it in.  The next rehearsal is Saturday March 11, 2017, at Teach Darach (Bob’s house) 208 Oak Knolls South.  It is a potluck, so bring a dish to pass. We will eat, rehearse, and have a great time.

Visitors are encouraged to check out our Facebook Event & RSVP if you plan to attend.
